Personal Thoughts

So I made myself comfortable, and fired up my Netlfix account. The Burning (which I hadn't seen since the early 90's) is an 80's camp slasher much like Friday the 13th. It's a pretty decent, underrated movie in my opinion, one that I ended up enjoying now, more than I remembered enjoying back when I saw it last. It also has one of the best, slasher kill scenes that I've ever seen  (the scene where he takes out the kids on the raft).

One of the negatives about this movie was that It took the killer a while to really get t work on his killings. One of the positives was the killers tragic back story (how a camp prank leaves him burnt and deformed looking). I also liked how some of the other characters in the movie (besides the main characters) made it through the film ... usually everyone outside of the main character(s) dies in these types of movies.

In all, this movie was fun! So have at it, if you're a lover of slasher movies.
