Personal Thoughts

John Carpenter's Village of the Damned is a 1995 remake of a 1960 movie also titled Village of the Damned. The movie stars Christopher Reeves (in his last staring role before being paralyzed) along with Mark Hamill and Kirstie Alley, as mentioned above.

Unstoppable/killer kids is the basic theme of this movie, and an annoying one at that, seeing as these particular kids (from God knows where) possess abilities and powers beyond anything of this world. You can't just pull out the belt and spank them! They read your mind, they know your thoughts ... and they can also take control and make you hurt yourself ... seems to me like the only logically solution would be to skip town when they're sleeping, but then again, they'd probably know what you're thinking. My wife turned to me and said, If Superman and Luke Skywalker can't stop them, than I guess no one can.

In all, I enjoyed this movie. I found it to be both entertaining and suspenseful. I'm a bit of a sucker for those "strange occurrences in a small town" type movies.
