Synopsis
On the night of her graduation dance in 1945, Rosemary and her date were brutally murdered by a prowler thought to be a jilted soldier home from the war. The killer was never found. Thirty years later, the dance is held again for the first time since that horrific evening, and the grads are ready to party ... but once again, something terrible awaits the teens of this sleepy town. Who will meet their grisly ends at the hands of The Prowler?

Personal Thoughts
I hadn't seen this movie in a good while. The Prowler is one of your typical 80's slasher movies, one that I ended up enjoying. The plot had it's share of holes and the acting definitely wasn't the movies strong point, but I still thought the Prowler was a pretty decent slasher. I liked the back story of the Prowler (which was set in the 40's), I liked the Prowler character (who wore a military outfit) and I also liked the twist ending. The Prowler is regarded as having some of the more brutal, realer looking murder scenes, which I definitely don't disagree with.
It's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of slashers.
