Synopsis
Twenty years ago in the sleepy mining town of Valentine Bluffs, a fatal mining disaster occurred on Valentine's Day while some of the crew was decorating for a party. The sole survivor of the accident killed the remaining crewmembers and warned the town not to celebrate Valentine's Day again. When a group of teenagers decides to defy that order, a murderous maniac in mining gear begins dispatching townsfolk in bloody and creative ways.

Personal Thoughts
I ended up watching my Bloody Valentine again, only for the second time. I actually saw the 2009 remake before I got a chance to this one. It was one of those movies I just never got around to seeing until recently.
I ended up enjoying it (I seem to be saying that a lot these days). I really liked this movies back story, (the disturbing tale of Harry Warden). I liked the miner's suit, and thought that it made for a great slasher character. The whole sending someone a heart shaped box a candy with a real heart in it is just wrong! Though I liked the movie, I did however fill there were parts that dragged a bit, especially towards the end.
Overall, My Bloody Valentine is a decent slasher, one that I can't believe I didn't see in the 80's, during the slasher crazed era!
