Personal Thoughts

I've been wanting to see this movie for quite some time now (since the fall). Well finally, this day has come. Even though I couldn't wait to see it, I approached it soberly/not expecting much!

Though I could have easily given this movie a 2.5 or 3, I decided to give it a 3.5 because it did manage to keep me interested for the most part.

I thought the whole chain letter text/email idea was great. We've seen movies with; a tape that kills you when you watch it, a phone call where you inexplicably die shortly after receiving it, a video game that kills you when you play it (you die in the game, you die for real), and now we get a chain letter which will be the death of you should you fail to pass it along.

Overall, there were parts of this movie I enjoyed, and parts that weren't so great. Some of the brutal death scenes reminded me of the Saw movies. Still a good one to check out if you're a fan of the horror genre.
