Personal Thoughts

I was expecting to hate this movie (all the reviews seem to butcher it), but ended up liking it more than I thought I would.

There's really not much to say here. The Hills Have Eyes 2 is not great, but it's not awful (I seem to say that a lot)! It was intense, a bit gross, with some nice action in there as well. There were parts that I thought were realistic ... and then there were parts that I thought were unrealistic. Some of the acting was okay, and other parts of the acting were pretty bad.

When the commanding officer went down, I knew the crew was in for it. There's nothing like seeing a group of armed soldiers being taken out by deformed hill people with rocks. That doesn't say much about our military! I'm giving it a 3.5 though it probably really deserves a 3.
